Who is Paradox/Olivia?

Where is Paradox located?

Paradox is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, and has additional office locations in Chicago, Illinois, and Baltimore, Maryland; Tel Aviv, Israel; and Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. We also have team members in the UK, Singapore, and Australia — and we're growing by the day!

What is conversational AI and how does it differ from a recruiting chatbot?

It’s common for “conversational AI” and “chatbot” to be used interchangeably, however we think about them differently. At a basic level, chatbots are transactional — offering a single-turn response to something it's been programmed to answer. When those chatbots are pushed beyond what they've been specifically programmed for, the experience breaks — often leading to a frustrating interaction for candidates. Conversational AI, on the other hand, is better equipped to understand the nuance of someone's intent — reading between the lines of their message using Natural Language Processing (NLP). We believe this creates an enhanced, more personal experience that feels more human, and it allows companies to better deliver on each candidate's unique needs, no matter which language they speak or platform they engage with (SMS, Whatsapp, web chat, etc.).

Are you GDPR and/or CCPA compliant?

Paradox supports clients around the world. As you can imagine, Paradox and each Paradox client may be subject to a number of independent requirements under various privacy laws. Paradox maintains a comprehensive, written information security program to manage Paradox’s compliance with its obligations under data privacy laws, including the GDPR and the CCPA. Additionally, the Paradox solution is equipped with security features and functionality that enable each client to manage its own independent efforts to comply with data privacy laws, including the GDPR and the CCPA.

Do you sell personal or candidate data?

No. Paradox may only process client data as required to provide the services in accordance with the client’s instructions and the agreement.
