Today is a fun day at Paradox. We’ve long had respect for the Workday team, how it innovates for its clients, and how it scaled its business over the last decade. They’ve done a lot of things right. We were thrilled to have Workday Ventures participate in our Series C fundraise last year and we’ve enjoyed working alongside the Workday product teams to build solutions for clients that drive impact.

Now we get to celebrate a small win on the path to transforming talent acquisition for those clients.

This week, Paradox was named a winner of the 2023 Workday Partner Innovation Awards in the Office of the CHRO category. Workday is a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources, and we have the fortune of working alongside more than 50 mutual Workday and Paradox clients to transform recruiting through conversational experiences and automation.

The 2023 Workday Partner Innovation Awards is the third edition of Workday’s annual innovation awards, which honor select Workday Services and Software partners for their expertise in — and commitment to — accelerating innovation to customers while extending key Workday solutions.

Paradox for Workday.

Paradox was selected for its Workday-specific solution, Paradox for Workday — which works alongside Workday Recruiting and Workday Human Capital Management to automate things like interview scheduling, candidate communications via SMS and chat, and more. Workday Human Capital Management is a unified system that helps enable organizations to make faster decisions, gain operational visibility, prepare for future talent shifts, and build effective teams.

Of course, the award itself is exciting — but we’re even more excited about the results Paradox for Workday is driving for our mutual clients.

Earlier this month, General Motors’ Head of Candidate Experience Eileen Kovalsky shared GM’s transformation story with Workday and Paradox, highlighting some significant impacts on the business as a whole:

  • Automating scheduling more than 80,000 interviews
  • Reducing time-to-schedule from 5 days to less than 30 minutes
  • Saving the business more than $2 million in operational costs

We truly feel like we’re in the early innings of a long game, but the opportunity to transform talent acquisition alongside great partners like Workday is what gets me up and excited every morning.

We’re just getting started, but I’d like to thank our clients, the Workday team, and Team Paradox for all the hours and care that have helped us get to this point. We have so much more to do, but we couldn’t do any of it without the people who trust us with their biggest hiring challenges.

Thank you!
